以下転載 ↓ ↓ ↓  完成。 1945年12月5日、「魔の三角海域」と言われる、バミューダトライアングルで、訓練飛行中の5機のアベンジャー（TBM-3が1機、TBM-1Cが4機）が忽然と姿を消した−。 この、「バミューダトライアングル」のことを知ったのは小学生のころ。「世界のミステリー」みたいな本がきっかけだったと思います。雪男や地上絵、はてはツチノコまで話題満載なその本の中でも、とくにこのバミューダトライアングルの話だけは妙に覚えていまして。 そして今回、アベンジャーを作ろうと思ってたら、模型店でその訓練部隊「フライト１９」のデカールをすすめられたのはもう運命としか。 それから二ヶ月、あまりのエッチングパーツの量に、途中で何度もおなかをユルくしながらも、やっとこさ完成しました。   キットはイタレリ製。しかし名作アキュレイト金型。 ディテール表現や合わせのよさは文句なし。もう完璧です。 また、エデュアルドの「BIG ED」を奢り、エッチングパーツてんこ盛りで作りました。機内のディテールと、開状態のランディングフラップはそれによるものです。ただ、そもそもプラパーツの時点でかなーり良く出来ているので、「ディテールアップ」としての効果は微妙なところ。「表現のバリエーション」と言った方が近いかもしれません。   グロスシーブルーの塗装は、コルセアの巻に引き続き、クリアブルーによるもの。 デカールはスーパースケール製で、一時は「スーパー透ける」なんて揶揄されたのがウソのように完璧な発色。フィルムも薄く、とても扱いやすかったです。   ちなみに下に敷いてある芝生マットはタミヤの情景マット。ほぼA4サイズです。 せっかくウエポンベイまで作ったので、静岡で展示するなら鏡でも下に敷こうかなあ。 まさに非の打ち所の無い工作、細部に至るまでこまやかな心配りがなされた作例です。クリアー塗装も前作以上に深みのある色合いで、更に暗黒フォースに磨きがかかってますね！何処まで強くなられるか恐ろしいですよおおお。で、次回作はやっぱり例の暗黒アイテムでしょうか。  |
